When I was in my early 20's I discovered the term "Wellness". I quickly knew that this idea of being well, taking care of your body to prevent illness and feel happy and healthy, would guide my choices. I began practicing yoga toward my late 20's which was a game changer and brought me a sense of physical well being and mental and spiritual strength.
Practicing wellness in my 20's and early 30's was easy. It was just me ... I was single, had a full time professional income and all the time in the world to focus on self-care and personally growth.
At 35, I met my husband and at 36, my daughter was born. Suddenly, if I didn't make wellness a priority, it quickly fell to the wayside. Over time, slowly, almost unnoticeably, my physical and mental health deteriorated and I found myself exhausted, feeling drained, and quick to react emotionally.
Now, I'm approaching 45, I'm working every day on making my personal wellness a priority because I have big plans to live a long life full of vitality and joy. I'm sharing my journey, promoting products that benefit me and hoping to help other tired moms and dads find ways to prioritize their own wellness.
The essence of my work is to facilitate self-growth by helping you identify your core mind, body and spirit challenges, so that you can overcome them with confidence. Only then, will you be able to fully embrace who you are and start living a happier and healthier life.
